This weeks tease comes from Into the Hollow by Karina Halle with a release date of THIS THURSDAY! 11-15-12!!!

“You know we could make a clothing optional rule around each other. That way we’d always be naked and never have to laundry.”
The way he said it made me shift in my seat uncomfortably.
“All right, Dex, quit it. You’re beating a dead horse.”
“I’m beating something horse-sized, that’s for sure.”

Bahahaha!  I love Dex!  Relentless as ever, he is so hilarious in this installment!  I love reading about Pervy Dex!  There is nothing sexier than a funny man.  But don't let that fool you.  There are so many layers to this character that this installment has me going from one emotion to the next.  And I enjoyed every last minute of it!

Say what?  You haven't read anything from the Experiment in Terror series yet?  Well check it out!  Darkhouse, book 1, is free on AmazonBarnes & Noble and Smashwords!

This weeks tease comes from Down to You by M. Leighton

“Maybe I just like to do my own recon.”
“And what does that consist of?”
 I know I should stop while I still can.  Only I can’t.
“I like to use all my senses to get a good lay of the land.”
“Lay of the land?” she asks, the corners of her mouth dimpling.
“Of course,” I reply.  “So I can plan my attack.”
“Recon?  For an attack?  Do tell.”
“First I start with touch.”  I reach out and brush one dimple with my fingertip then slowly drag it inward, across her pouty bottom lip.  “Touch is invaluable. The texture of the terrain tells me how…aggressive my attack needs to be.  Some places require a much more delicate approach than others.”
Okay.  So that teaser was a little longer than normal.  But hot right?  Oh boy, the rest of that conversation is even better. ;)

Come on!  Now it's your turn to tease me...

This weeks tease comes from Building From Ashes by
Elizabeth Hunter with a release date of October 23rd, 2012.

'What do you know about the right office?  According to Ioan, you wear Hawaiian shirts under your vestements.  Not to mention your rumored television habits.'
'Lies.  All lies.  I'm a picture of devotion and obedience.  Highly appropriate at all times.'
Irritating children, telling on him like that.  Carwyn frowned and poked his son in the shoulder.  Ioan and  Deirdre were sitting in the pew in from of him.  His son looked over his shoulder, then between the two of them and the note Brigid held in her lap.
"Behave, both of you," Ioan whispered.  "Brigid, I expect this behavior out of him, but not you.  Father Jacob is in the middle of the homily."

After getting a small taste of Carwyn in the Elemental Mysteries series, I am happy to be reading this!  Finally, I get to learn more about this cheeky vampire who's over 1000 years old, a Priest and one of the kindest yet fiercest vampires around.  The quote above gives you a small glimpse on just how mischievous he can be. ;)

My tease this week comes from Seduction and Snacks by Tara Sivec.

"Papa says your friends Johnny, Jack and Jose maded you sick. Friends shouldn't do stuff like that, Mommy. If Luke maded me sick, I'd punch him in the nuts!"
"Gavin! Come on, we don't say things like that," I scolded him.
"Fine," he huffed. "I'd tickle him in the nuts."

Oh my god this book is a RIOT!!!  Gavin is Claire's four year old son and he's hilarious!  You never know what he is going to say next!  This whole book is fantastic and had me laughing out loud and snorting constantly!

This weeks tease comes from Little Red Riding Crop by Tiffany Reisz.
Download this short story for free here.

"Well..." he said looking Nora up and down.  He seemed to take particular note of what she held in her hand and her red cloak.  "If it isn't Little Red Riding Crop."
Nora gave him her brightest, broadest, most obnoxious smile.
"If it isn't the Big Brad Wolfe.  We meet again."

Tiffany Reisz is easily one of my favorite erotica authors.  This short story is     H-O-T,  HOT!!!  But you know what I really love?  Not only is this short story a free download, but she has other shorts you can read on her website relating to the Original Sinners series.  BONUS!!!  I love it when authors do that.

This weeks tease comes from Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha

As if the words gave her permission, she smoothed her other palm up his side, fingers slicking over his bare chest, past his new tattoo and up to his shoulder.  "You're so strong," she whispered, tracing his bicep with something damn close to reverence.  "Powerful.  Raw."
"Hungry."  He didn't even look at the throng of people milling around hem.  "You keep touching, and I'm bound to think you want to do more. "

Whew.  This book was intensely erotic.  I still haven't composed my thoughts for a review but I loved it.  You might just need a fan handy, or your lover. ;)

This weeks tease come from On Dublin Street by Samantha Young.

My cell rang and I made an apologetic face as I pulled it out of my pocket. “Rhian, hey.” I turned and took a few steps away, not chancing that they might hear her on the other end of the line.
“I have an emergency,” she replied in a monotone. “Abort the picnic.”
“Oh, no, you’re kidding.” I played along, sounding all mothering and soothing. “Are you okay?”
“Bloody hell, Joss, I thought you could lie?” Rhian grumbled. “You’re speaking like an alien who’s heard of the human concept of ‘being concerned’ but doesn't know how to execute it.”
Joss has a horrible past that has her trying to keep her personal attachments to a minimum.  Enter best friend Rhian to save the day!  I don't know if she's fooling anyone though. ;)  This was a fantastic book!

This weeks teaser comes from The Druid Stone by Heidi Belleau and
Violetta Vane.

"Tell me to stop," he growled into the hollow of Sean's throat, tasting the smoke, and he didn't know whether he was daring Sean or begging him.  One of his hands twisted rough fingers into the fabric of Sean's shirt, the other skimming down the flat planes of his chest ad stomach to cover the shape of his cock trapped under his fly, and -fuck- yes, he was hard too.

Bringing you a little M/M kink for my tease this week!  *fans self*  These guys were H-O-T hot!

This weeks tease comes from Death and the Girl Next Door by Darynda Jones with a release date of October 2nd, 2012.

"You're so logical," I said as we headed to second hour.
"Thank you.  I was going for logical.  It seemed like the logical thing to do."
"Though we really should get straight whose butt got kicked that day and whose butt did the touchdown victory dance."
"Your butt can do the touchdown victory dance?" she asked.
"It could the day it kicked yours."

This new YA series from Darynda Jones includes the same humor I have grown fond of in the Charley Davidson series.  I love it.  Love the snark. :)

Lord I ache tonight.
She kept her mind voice breathy, wistful.  For several tense seconds, nothing happened, then his presence stirred and walked across to the windows.  She dipped her fingers into the water and wet her neck, letting the cool droplets dribble between her breasts.

Whew!  This book is extremely sexy!  That quote comes from the very first chapter, giving you just a small taste of what's to come!

This weeks teaser comes from The Siren by Tiffany Reisz

"I've got a crisp new Benjamin for the first person who can give me a good synonym for thrust, noun form.  Go."  she said, her voice both honeyed and sardonic.
Although irritated by her cavalier attitude and her unfortunate attractiveness, Zach couldn't help but scroll though his substantial mental thesaurus.
"Push, lunge, shove, attack, force, jab," he rattled off the words.
"His slow, relentless jabs sent her reeling..." she said.  "Sounds like commentary on a boxing match.  Goddammit, why are there no good synonyms for thrust?  Bane of my existence.  Although..." She set her keyboard aside and turned to face him for the first time.  "I do love a man with a big vocabulary."

Hahaha!  I don't know how many times I've asked my hubby for a synonym for a certain word just while writing reviews.  I love this quote and it's the first time that Nora and Zach meet in person.

This weeks teaser comes from The Bloodgate Warrior by Joely Sue Burkhart.

"You want to be afraid."  His voice rolled like approaching thunder, sending chills racing up and down my arms.  "Your pulse pounding in your throat, the hair at the nape of your neck standing on end, your breathing coming fast and hard as though you've been running.  Running from me.  You know I'll run you down, don't you, Cassie?  You'll never be able to escape me once I begin the hunt."

Whoa.  This short story has definitely grabbed my attention.  He's a Mayan God that has been in her dreams for months.  Steamy steamy and my nerdiness totally appreciates the archaeological/historical mystery that is also taking place.

This weeks teaser comes from Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire.

A pair of heavy black boots stepped in front of me, diverting my attention to the floor.  My eyes traveled upward; jeans spattered with blood, a set of finely chiseled abs, a bare, tattooed chest drenched in sweat, and finally a pair of warm, brown eyes.  I was shoved from behind, and Travis caught me by the arm before I fell forward.
"Hey!  Back up off her!"  Travis frowned, shoving anyone who came near me.  His stern expression melted into a smile at the sight of my shirt, and then he dabbed my face with a towel.  "Sorry about that, Pigeon."

Wow.  If that's not a hell of a first impression, I don't know what is!  And that nickname.  Still don't know how that came about but oh well.  Travis is something else.  I <3 tattooed guys. ;)

This weeks teaser comes from Blade Song by J.C. Daniels.

"I just sliced and diced a Burmese python while you were busy growling at the universe, fuzz bucket."  I absolutely wouldn't say I was afraid of him.  It was unsettling as hell, but I was almost ready to believe he wasn't big on the idea of hurting me.  "I think I can handle you."

I really enjoyed this book.  It had some really great dialogue and a great mystery to be solved.

Grif's thoughts on Kit:
But it was physiology that was really at fault. Even the big girls were easy to put down. Craig wasn’t big or small, but right in the middle where a woman should be. She was like that roller coaster he’d loved at Coney Island as a kid, made up of long slopes and wide curves, built for thrills. Something wild, he thought, but also something that made a man just want to let go.

Kit's thoughts on Grif:
Instead she kept catching herself gazing over at him, specifically at his full bottom lip when he spoke, his voice lodged deeply in his throat, as if only escaping reluctantly to take flight in the air. He was not a man overly fond of chitchat. Yet she liked it when he did speak. His voice was like gravel rolling around inside a buckskin pouch, and well-suited to his languid watchfulness, the half-lidded gaze, the wide-legged slump. He was like a lion in repose, his strength quiet and coiled until it was needed.
So yeah, I'm loving this so far.  I love the description of Grif.  But also, he's an angel with a pompadour.  How awesome is that?!  Kit and all her fabulous hairdo's are right up my alley too.  But more-so than the rockabilly lifestyle mentioned, this has a great and intriguing plot.

Will groaned again, this time there was no mistaking the sound.  He was enjoying this.  Honoria glanced up.  A mistake.  For Blade was staring at her, his mouth locked against Will's throat, his hand fisted in the shaggy hair and the other arm wrapped around the man, clutching him hard.

This book is really fantastic so far.  So much to possibly tease you with but this was my first choice.  ;)

This weeks teaser comes from Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost...

The first was a short-haired brunet whose grin made me assume he was the one who’d greeted Vlad with the taunt. He was also handsome in a too-pretty way that made me think with less muscles, a wig, and some makeup, he’d look great in a dress.
Vlad’s scowl vanished into a smile as the brunet’s gaze swung in my direction as though he’d somehow heard that.
“Looks as though she’s put you in your place as well, Bones,” Vlad drawled.
“So it seems,” Bones replied, winking at me. “But while I’ve worn many disguises, I draw the line at a dress.”

Hahahaha!  I loved this!  That must really suck to be in a room full of mind readers. :)
FYI Leila, Bones is not way too pretty.  I don't have pretty men in my sexy scoundrel harem. ;)
